Driver Has Epic Crash at Pikes Peak Hill Climb

For those of you that think NASCAR is the most dangerous activity involving a car, it has nothing on the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Race.

The race has been running since 1916 and is best known by the nickname, "Race to the Clouds" as motorcyclists and car drivers attempt to navigate the steep course to the summit of Pikes Peak mountain.

One of the drivers attempting to reach the summit in this year's race was Jeremy Foley but he would end up crashing car his Mitsubishi Evolution 8 in mile sixteen. The above video shows the car going over a steep turn and crashing into an embankment.

Both Foley and his co-driver Yuri survived the crash and neither sustained any serious injuries.
