Twins who grew up between Stockhold, Sweden, and Australia, Elektra and Miranda Kilbey make up Say Lou Lou, a band who's sound has been described well as "the delicate sound of thunderous yearning." These girls are a little bummed out, but they sure are talented. Also, they look like Charlie's Angels.

Their music and their look are heavily influenced by their back and forth travel between the two polar opposite locations of their youth, and they are well aware of it: "When you're constantly travelling back and forth between the opposite ends of the world, you can end up feeling like you're stuck somewhere in between."

Though their music is easily classified as pop, there are no bubble gum beats.  There is a palpable and achingly-emotional sense of displacement and longing at the heart of their music. This is what you listen to on the way home from a night that didn't turn out the way you hoped it would.
