Simone Simons — Crush of the Day

Put a hot redhead who fronts a hard-hitting Dutch metal band in front of our eyes and ask us not to crush on her. It’s not gonna happen. It’s just impossible.

How do we know? Because today we’re crushing hard on Simone Simons, the raven-haired and scantily clad lead vocalist for symphonic metal rockers EPICA.

Simons cuts a striking figure on stage with her red mane and tight black leather outfits, but she’s much more than a flashy hood ornament fronting the EPICA engine. Simons is a classically-trained singer with a four octave range. The Netherlands native is also an accomplished musician, and plays the piano and the flute.

The 27-year-old singer has put out five albums with EPICA, and the band is currently touring North America in support of their latest LP, ‘Requiem for the Indifferent.’
