‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Edition of the Washington Nationals’ ‘Presidential Race’

For those in the audience who have never attended a Washington Nationals game at Nationals Park, one of the amusing sideshows during the game is the Presidents Race. Similar to Milwaukee's Sausage Race, four mascots dressed as our greatest presidents race around the park to the delight of woman, children and drunk men.

Last Wednesday, the race paid homage to the new Batman movie, 'Dark Knight Rises' and dressed Teddy Roosevelt as Bane.

Just when it looked as though Teddy had a chance to win it all, Abe "Batman" Lincoln came to the rescue of the other racers:

Imagine how annoying this would be to fans if the Nationals were still terrible.
