There’s just no denying Gillian Jacobs’ appeal. She’s hot, she’s funny, and she’s one of the most accessible celebs on Twitter (yes, that’s a plus in our book).

The actress also happens to star in one of our favorite sitcoms, NBC’s ‘Community.’ Jacobs plays Britta, the often perplexed cause-hunting and self-righteous hottie, on ‘Community.’

Jacobs landed the ‘Community’ gig in 2009. Before becoming a sitcom star, the Pittsburg native appeared on ‘Fringe,’ ‘The Good Wife,’ ‘Law & Order: Criminal Intent,’ and ‘Royal Pains.’ She also appeared in several interesting film projects, including Richard Kelly’s ‘The Box’ (in which she’s almost unrecognizable as a brunette), ‘Choke,’ and the Michael Douglas drama ‘Solitary Man.’

You can catch Jacobs on the big screen this weekend alongside Steve Carell and Keira Knightley in the quirky sci-fi rom-com ‘Seeking a Friend for the End of the World,’ in which she reportedly locks lips with Knightley (which pretty much makes this one a must-see).

Here’s what Jacobs had to say when Vulture recently asked her about kissing Knightley for the film: “It was kind of an out-of-body experience — you know, when you find yourself doing something you haven't done in your life. It's like when I had to simulate a screaming orgasm in an ice-cream shop full of children and grandparents.”

Want to see Jacobs simulating that “screaming orgasm” onscreen? Check out the scene in the 2008 movie ‘Gardens of the Night,’ where she plays a “street prostitute.”
