With summer in full swing next month, there are plenty of quality releases from all music genres hitting shelves in June 2013 that will certainly perk up your ears on those blistering, blazing summer days. And if you're planning any road trips, well, we've got your soundtracks right here.

Rockers Filter will drop the new album 'The Sun Comes Out Tonight.' We know, that title doesn't make sense, but if you dig what Richard Patrick and co. did with songs like 'Hey Man Nice Shot' or even 'Take a Picture,' then you've gotta see what they're up to now. Queens of the Stone Age return after a period of latency with the new platter '...Like Clockwork.' Expect it to be full of dirty, dusty, puts-hair-on-your-chest riffs.

Elsewhere, Wolfmother's Andrew Stockdale is dropping a solo album in June 2013 with 'Keep Moving,' while those metal legends in Black Sabbath are back with '13,' sans drummer Bill Ward. He's been replaced, at least on the recording end, by Rage Against the Machine's Brad Wilk. From what we've heard, it's heavier than a lead balloon -- just like we want from Sabbath.

If gentlemanly crooning is more your speed, well, get educated by neo jazz singer Harry Connick, Jr. with his latest 'Every Man Should Know.' And if you like comedy rock, Andy Samberg and his crew are back with The Lonely Island's latest, which features guest spots from Lady Gaga and Justin Timberlake. It's a 'SNL' episode on record.

Former Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland will talk a good game with her new album, which is R&B. Rapper Mac Miller, who exploded onto the scene (from Pittsburgh of all places) last year, returns with his cleverly titled 'Watching Movies With the Sound Off.'

Indie rock more your style? Well, Icelandic art rockers Sigur Ros also have a release this month.

Rappers J. Cole and Wale drop platters at the end of the month, while butter smooth R&Ber John Legend also brings us new music. Lastly, may we recommend a new solo album from Pearl Jam guitarist Stone Gossard?
