Spring sprung along with new music for March 2013.

Spring is almost here and as the weather gets warmer, more new releases begin to make their way to the shelves or to whichever digital music platform or service you prefer. In March 2013, no matter what genre is your favorite, there's certainly something for you to crank while working out, driving or whatever it is you do while listening to music.

You can enjoy some country fun courtesy of Luke Bryan, who knows how to write a song about hotties and drinking, two very worthwhile pursuits. There is a whole lotta rock on deck. The Black Crowes will issue a live album of new music in March 2013, while Jersey glamsters Bon Jovi understand there is no better time than now to release new tunes. Like your rock a little less cock'ish? Then there's 'Comedown Machine,' the latest by those NYC hipsters in The Strokes.

'90s stalwarts Depeche Mode are also back with a new album of tunes in the form of 'Delta Machine.' If you like your rock a tad lighter, and trust us, it's sorta okay if you do, then OneRepublic's 'Native' is worth checking out. Those guys write catchier-than-an-STD songs.

Trent Reznor, late of Nine Inch Nails, also makes his recorded return with How to Destroy Angels, his synthy project featuring his wife. Their debut 'Welcome oblivion' is on its way in March 2013.

Two icons from different generations are also returning to the record store. David Bowie will drop 'The Next Day' on March 12; it's his 24th album. Meanwhile, Justin Timberlake, who hasn't released a new album since 2006, has put aside getting naked with Mila Kunis in romantic comedies in favor of releasing 'The 20/20 Experience' on March 19. Hmm. On paper, it seems like he made the wrong choice, since getting naked with Mila is the preferred job. But making music for a living is a fine consolation gig, especially since his Jay-Z-assisted comeback track 'Suit & Tie' is a huge, throwbacky R&B hit.

Lastly, if you like it loud, hard and Southern, give the new Sevendust a whirl.
