Shannon Ihrke — Babe of the Day

Most Marines don't look like Shannon Ihrke. A 24-year-old model living in Chicago, but originally from northern Minnesota, Ihrke served in the United States Marine Corps for four years. Girl can rock a machine gun or high heels — making her both alluring and dangerous, like a quadruple cheeseburger with bacon.

Ihrke has done swimwear, fashion, lingerie, fitness and runway modeling. She was a finalist in the 2011 Maxim Hometown Hotties contest and appeared in the magazine's 2012 "Salute The Troops" issue. Ihrke was also a ring card girl for ProElite MMA fights in Moline, Ill. and Honolulu.

Having traded corps workouts for core workouts, Ihrke hopes to continue modeling and perhaps transition into commercials and video work.
