'The Drunk Diet: How I Lost 40 Pounds...Wasted' is a new book by a New York City bar manager who lost 40 pounds despite partying every night in New York. Near as we can tell, the weight loss is not explained by the loss of his liver or other vital organs damaged by alcohol.

Lüc Carl is the mastermind and semi-pro bowler (really) behind 'The Drunk Diet.' Often seen trying to bring back the 1980s by dressing like a member of Motley Crue, Carl manages St. Jerome, a rock bar in New York City. He keeps an online diary of his exploits on the path to fitness and, as his bio states, "his hilarious conquest to become the sexiest man on earth."

While nothing is sexier than an umlaut, Carl chased his fitness quest while continuing to drink great amounts of booze. In the process, he started to substitute sleeping in late and eating bad foods with early morning workouts and healthier meals that wouldn't be out of place in any diet plan. While he lost weight, Carl seemingly gained a heavy willingness to promote his story, even if he doesn't think his unorthodox diet plan is for everyone.

Stay tuned for the publisher of 'The Drunk Diet' signing on Kim Kardashian for 'Find Love By Loving. Everyone. A Lot.'
