For the past four years, snack food brand Combos and Bert Sperling, the research expert behind the popular 'Best Places to Live' studies, have teamed up to rank 50 major metropolitan areas using "manly" criteria like the popularity of power tools, the number of professional sports teams, and how many steak houses there are.
