Man Arrested For DUI — On a Bulldozer
When you see a man driving around on a bulldozer at 2 AM, chances are he's up to no good.
Cody Ray Gibbs was allegedly drunk as a skunk when he was caught by police operating the heavy machinery around a construction site in Powder Springs, GA. And by "operating" we mean intentionally destroying concrete curbing, an erosion silt fence and landscaping. According to his arrest warrant the property damage was estimated at $10,000.
It's unclear how Gibbs got access to the bulldozer, as the DUI report makes no mention of whether or not the 22-year-old was employed by the construction company he borrowed it from. Late last month Gibbs was arrested for a more traditional DUI -- suggesting he's a menace to society on any number of wheels. For his latest poor decision, he spent four days in jail before posting a $10,000 bond. He will face charges later this year.
While we'd generally advise Gibbs to just call a cab, it appears his habit of imbibing and driving appears to be more compulsion than convenience.
