Jennifer Hale is a voice over star who has brought female life to characters in 131 video games, many of which are some of the biggest franchises in gaming like 'Mass Effect,' 'Soul Caliber' and 'God of War'.

With such geek-cred to her name, it should come as a bit of a surprise to know Hale does not play video games - or has little interest in them outside of work!

The Canadian-born American actress has quite an impressive resume of work and although video game voice overs are her forté, Hale also done voice overs for commercials, cartoons and even appeared as  a guest on the TV show 'Charmed'. Voice acting wasn't initially Hale's career of choice, but given how hard it is to make it big on-screen, Hale found voice overs more of a steady gig.

Spending hours in a sound booth paid off. From being the voice of Samus (in the 'Metroid Prime' series), the female Captain Sheperd in 'Mass Effect 3' to Dr. Naomi Hunter (in the 'Metal Gear Solid' series), Hale has earned herself quite a reputation. Not to mention a fan base among hardcore gamers, who imagine their favorite video game babe every time they hear her voice.

We doubt Hale wants to know the details of what they're thinking.
