Have you ever inadvertently knocked over your drink in bar? This accident is about 77,000 times worse than that.

Last week, a customer at London’s Playboy Club accidentally dropped a bottle of Cognac Clos du Griffier 1788 – worth about $77,000 — as he got up from his cushy chair. Smash. Boom. Kerplooey.

While already knowing Rowan Atkinson was in London for the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games, it's not out of the question that the British actor Mr. Bean'd the 224-year-old bottle of booze while stopping by the Playboy Club. Maybe not.

As it turns out, whoever did smash the pricey hootch had two glasses of the extremely expensive booze — at $7,950.00 per glass (!)— just minutes before his epic fumble of the whole freaking bottle.

Mixologist Salvatore Calabrese was scheduled to make what could have been the world's most expensive cocktail in front of judges from the Guinness World Records organization this week. Not anymore.

"We all just froze, then it sunk in. I’ve been heartbroken. Not because of the value of the bottle, but because it is a piece of history that has been lost,” Salvatore said.

Truth: we'd have had our tongues on that floor using the five second rule until the bouncers dragged us away, or we needed stitches.
