The name 'My Little Pony' usually conjures up images of cherub faced little girls stroking the neon colored hair of little plastic horses and taking them on magical adventures that involve rainbows. It seems that the toys now have an all new core audience -- men, or as they like to be called, "bronies."

According to the Wall Street Journal the bronies collect all the toys, watch the shows and movies and even discuss their favorite characters from one of the most iconic toys of the 1980s for girls.

They not only meet in public to watch the show, but to trade and talk about the beauties in their collection. They've even started conventions like BroNYCon that will allegedly be "packed with fans of the series, three quarters of which are male."

Tickets are galloping away fast.
