Ray Lewis, NFL linebacker and the center of a lot of the focus surrounding the 2013 Super Bowl, is a very, uh, emotional guy. He screams and shouts and dances and is prone to crying. Naturally, with the Super Bowl approaching, 'SNL' took notice of this and included a bit on Weekend Update that featured an overly emotional Ray Lewis (Kenan Thompson) who can't stop crying. Ray Lewis himself saw it and...? He cried.

Lewis, about to go after his second Super Bowl win with the Baltimore Ravens, told reporters that he saw the 'SNL' skit and "was in tears." Because of course Ray Lewis would cry at a skit making fun of how he's always crying. But don't think that Lewis isn't a good sport. He tells USA Today:

I laughed so hard...It's good to be able to joke about certain things. What I do is very serious but for them to put it in a skit and for him to play it the way he did, it's awesome.

It's good to be able to laugh at yourself and we can think of a few NFL players who probably don't possess that kind of self-awareness to be able to do that. Say what you will about Ray Lewis (and this week people have been saying plenty), at least he can count a sense of humor amongst him many emotions. (And we have a feeling we'll be seeing the real Ray Lewis confronting the fake Ray Lewis on 'SNL' some time before this season ends.)
