EA Sports announced a slew of new features to the pending Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 game including "era-specific equipment and more realistic presentation." Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 will allow players to travel back to a time when golf equipment was little more than rocks tied to the end of sticks and players occasionally died of Polio on the course.

"Players will be able to go back in time and experience golf from the late 1800s through the present. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 will allow gamers to golf as legends of the past on classic courses. Each era will feature the true ball physics and equipment from the time period. Golfing in the early time periods means the ball spin and trajectory will be slower and lower compared to the modern era."

The new game will also allow users to travel back to 1800s to play golf on classic courses with legendary players. EA Tiberon, the game developer, made the additions based on fan feedback from the gaming community but it sounds like the changes were made based on surveys completed by the readers of AARP mag.

The game also includes a revamped presentation "to give players the feel of an authentic PGA Tour broadcast."

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 hits the street on March 26 for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
