Proving once and for all that sex and politics go hand-in-hand, a recent infographic by Buzzfeed says that residents of our nation's capital, Washington D.C., watched more porn in 2012 than any other state. Um, good job?

According to the infographic, which is based on data from Pornhub.com, D.C. residents watched more porn per capita than any other state last year. Specifically, the seat of the U.S. government watched 14.18 naughty videos per person.

That may not sound like a lot, but it's almost twice the 7.52 videos per person watched in Massachusetts, which came in second, and significantly higher than the 7.50 videos per person in New York, which came in third.

Oh, and in case you're wondering, the five most popular porn categories last year were "teen," "lesbian," "MILF," "amateur" and "ebony." The lowest trafficked day of the year was Dec. 25 and, as a consequence, the highest trafficked day was Dec. 27.

Clearly, lots of porn lovers were pent up after abstaining during Christmas, even more so in D.C., probably.
