Appearances in the films 'Dazed and Confused,' 'Bio-Dome' and 'Mallrats' brought her into our lives, but Joey Lauren Adams truly hit the spotlight in 1997 as the girl Ben Affleck pined for in 'Chasing Amy.'

The Little Rock-born actress, known for her little voice and seemingly-permanent dimpled smile, went on to appear in 'Big Daddy,' 'Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back,' and 'The Break-Up' before returning to the Sundance Film Festival nearly a decade after her breakout role - this time, as a director and screenwriter of the film 'Come Early Morning' starring Ashley Judd.

Adams has recently acted on cable television series like 'Party Down' and 'The United States of Tara.' She has a number of films in the works and is currently filming a holiday family movie "Saving Santa" slated for a 2012 release.
