Lil Wayne — Musician Mug Shot

Lil' Wayne was arrested in July 2007 for illegal possession of a firearm. The arrest came just hours after Wayne made his headline debut in the Big Apple with a iconic show at the Beacon Theatre.

New York Police pulled Wayne’s tour bus over after the show, and upon searching the vehicle, arrested the rapper for criminal possession of a weapon – a .40 caliber pistol – and another member of his crew for possession of marijuana.

In 2009, Lil Wayne  pleaded guilty to felony gun possession and was sentenced to one-year in jail
