Once a promising, young guard, the Boston Celtics' draft pick never quite made it to Beantown after he died in 1986 from consuming large amounts of cocaine. It was just two days earlier that the Celts chose Bias with the No. 2 pick in the NBA Draft.

At University of Maryland, Bias was twice the ACC Player of the Year, and he was widely expected to make a big splash in the NBA as well. But his chance to suit up next to Bird and other Celtic greats, sadly, never came.
