Alexander Semin is an Athlete!

Unfortunately Alexander Semin isn’t a mustache-clad conquistador, but there is a misunderstanding in the pronunciation department. The guy’s Russian, so “Semin” is said with a whole lot of guttural, deep-throat noises. (Not that kind of deep throat. We wish.) Basically, it doesn’t come off sounding like a jizz reference.

That being said, Semin is a hockey player from the great land of Russia, where he currently plays for the Sokol Krasnoyarsk. Don’t follow Russian hockey like every single other guy in this country? You might’ve seen him play for the Washington Capitals in recent years.
