‘The Cook, The Thief, His Wife & Her Lover’ — Movies About Food

The Eater: Albert (Michael Gambon), a crass and cruel high-level criminal who enjoys coming to the same fancy restaurant every night to berate the staff and enjoy a meal prepared by head chef Richard (Richard Bohringer).

The Food: Michael (Alan Howard), the former lover of Albert's wife, Georgina (Helen Mirren), whom Albert murdered earlier.

The Hitch: Um, Michael was a human being? Albert is forced at gunpoint by his enraged wife to eat a piece of his adversary's flesh as a punishment for killing him.

The End Result: As soon as Albert eats a bite, Georgina calls him a cannibal and shoots him dead. Some women you really don't want to cross.
