No. 89: Cobie Smulders – 100 Most Mind-Numbingly Hot Women of 2012

The 30-year-old former model and current actress is best known as TV reporter Robin Scherbatsky of 'How I Met Your Mother'. Though she's appeared in a handful of films in the past, her biggest part came in this year's Avengers in which she played S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Maria Hill.

Here's a fun fact: Joss Whedon considered her for the role of Wonder Woman in the now canceled film version, which would've made both her fans and followers of the Amazon princess very very happy.

Cobie's not just all blockbusters and superhero outfits, she's also a lead in the indie comedy 'Grassroots', which stars Jason Biggs, Cedric the Entertainer, and Tom Arnold. It premiered this past week at the Seattle International Film Festival and will have a limited run in mid-to-late July.

She admits she sort of hated modeling, but we hope she revisits her stance - the world can't have enough pics of Cobie making eye-love to the camera.
