No. 7: Metro 2033 — Hardest Video Games Ever

Eeking out a life in the post apocalyptic ruins of Russia would probably be difficult, but Metro 2033 almost makes it unbearable. The simple mechanic of making bullets aslo the mode of currency, Metro 2033 asks you one question. Would you rather survive or be poor and then die. Each enemy absorbs your bullets like a marshmallow and keeps coming at you. You find yourself counting rounds as you pump a monster full of lead so that when you get back into the shards of civilization, you can afford to buy some food.
