Super Ghouls N' Ghosts took the insane difficulty of its predecessor and upped the graphics and stakes. With the improved hardware of the SNES, there could be more enemies all vying for your soul while you tried to negotiate your way through an ever moving landscape and enemies that would sneak up on you behind. Jumps required pixel point accuracy and frequently just one hit was enough to take you down. But, the soundtrack was pretty good and for providing a nice tune while you die, Super Ghouls N' Ghosts carves it’s way into our list of the 10 hardest video games ever.
