While it's not Capcom's most famous fighting franchise, the "Versus" series always felt more fun. Much more ridiculous and combo-heavy than Street Fighter, the series emphasized over-powered superheroes and villains in match-ups that you could previously only dream of. Who among you hasn't often sat and contemplated who would win in a fight between Mega Man and Shuma-Gorath?

By far the best of the series so far, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2's tag-team battles let you choose three characters to more easily try out more members of that vast, 56-character list. But why would we pick this game over the recent Marvel Vs. Capcom 3? Plenty of reasons -- there's more characters, the 2D art is superior, and it had more attacks and options. It's pretty much perfect with the only gripe being that awful, awful "Take you for a ride" theme song that still gives us nightmares.
