The 21-year-old singer-songwriter and actress was born in what is now Kosovo but moved to the UK shortly thereafter.

She auditioned for 'Eurovision: Your Country Needs You' on BBC One to be the British contestant for the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest but later withdrew from the competition after a few episodes.

In 2012, Ora provided the vocals for DJ Fresh’s "Hot Right Now", which became the fastest selling single in the UK of 2012. Her debut single, "R.I.P" featuring Tinie Tempah, topped the UK Singles Chart in May 2012.

Her first studio album titled, 'O.R.A.'  is now two years in the making and will feature will.i.am, Ester Dean, Drake, The-Dream, Kanye West and Stargate. It's scheduled to release in September. In May, Ora became a guest judge on the ninth series of the X Factor in the UK.

Ora is currently opening for Coldplay throughout the summer.
