No. 66: Super Ghouls’n Ghosts – 100 Greatest Games Ever

Ghosts'n Goblins is notoriously difficult. You can only take two hits of damage -- the first leaving you in heart-patterned underwear -- before dying and restarting the level. Actually beat the game and you get to replay the whole thing again! Yay!

But it's still fun as hell. This SNES remake of the superior sequel is the best of the series and actually beatable.
